KGA Rescue
The Korthals Griffon Association not only promotes and protects the Korthals Griffon but are also committed to supporting and assisting Korthals Griffons and their families in need. The KGA Committee aim to raise funds and awareness for Korthals Griffons in need of urgent care or rehoming.
Since 2015 we have attended Living Heritage events across the country educating the public and raising money for the rescue fund with our Tombola/raffle, where we have both adult and child prizes! By frequently visiting our website http://www.korthalsgriffonassication.org you can see when our next events are, visit our rescue page & leave a message if you know of any KGs in need of aid and come join in the fun for a great cause! This summer Top Collar kindly donated treat packets for our Tombola to help raise even more money for our rescue fund!
Alternatively, if you have access to our social media pages you can keep up to date on KG rehoming and rescue; below are a couple of KGs in need of new homes and care.
This lovely fella named Geronimo is 7 years old. Good with other dogs, cats and children. Very affectionate. Chipped, vaccinated and castrated. About 50km west of Paris. Up for adoption due to divorce.
The KGA have been asked to assist with finding Winston his forever home. This beautiful French sweet boy is up for adoption as his family are relocating to the Far East due to a job transfer. He is 13 months old, has basic obedience training and is fully Passported. Excellent with children but a bit dubious with cats. His pedigree is a very good one coming from well established working lines. Please PM for details.
UPDATE on Winston.
“He will soon be with his forever family in Kent. He will become a part of a family that closely mirrors his own so hopefully a easier transition for him.
I love happy endings.
Thank you all for your good wishes and offerings to provide Winston with a loving home.” -Colleen Porter, President of the KGA
