After a 4 hour drive to Norfolk we arrived to Sandringham Estate and although it was not raining we did experience a lot of wind, which is never good when you have a tent to put up, let alone a 12 man tent in the dark. Needless to say we managed to put the tent up before midnight with the help of a lovely lady named Paula, if it wasn’t for her help I’m not sure we would have had a tent left. Kindness from strangers at a time of need really is one of the best feelings.

We woke up early to heavy rain and a leaking tent, not the best thing to wake up too but we fixed what we needed and set up the KGA stand in the gun dog display tent and began to prepared ourselves for the day. Although it rained throughout the day the turn out was much better than expected and we managed to meet a lot of friendly people interested in the breed and the KGA.

The last day of the Sandringham Game and Country Show was glorious, the sun beamed all day and we were able to dry off all our wet clothes and even the tent. It was an extremely busy day with lots of people, activities and conversations. In our free time we managed to look at some of the other displays and buy some new gear for the dogs and ourselves for the KGA’s next event at Bowood. I managed to take a few nice photo’s for the KGA website thanks to the warm weather, making up for the lack of photos I had taken on the Saturday because of the rain. You can see some of the photo’s below:
